Richwood Association

Working closely with village officials, Richwood business and community leaders, the Richwood Area Business Association (RABA) is deeply involved in the quality of life in the village and surrounding areas. The meetings are held every second Tuesday of the month at 12:00 PM at the Richwood Public Library, 4 E. Ottawa Street, Richwood. The major events held annually are:

Customer Appreciation Day

Customer Appreciation Day, held annually in September, is designed to express appreciation to customers who frequently shop the Richwood businesses. Free sandwiches, chips and drinks are provided while purchasing a variety of items at reduced prices.

Golf Outing

The RABA golf outing is held annually in October. Proceeds go towards projects or events that promote the Richwood Community and its businesses.

Richwood Christmas Parade

Held the first Saturday of December, the downtown parade ends at the Richwood Park for the tree lighting ceremony. Other Christmas activities include the house decorating contest, children’s coloring contest, hospitality night and decorating downtown.

The RABA also supports the events of other organizations in the community. They include the Richwood Independent Fair, Park Days and the Springenfest.
