There’s one in Indiana. There’s one in Tennessee, too. In fact, there are 17 “Union Counties” throughout the United States, but there’s only one in Ohio, and we thank you for the opportunity to share our community with you.
There are many things that make Union County a great place to live and conduct business: our safe neighborhoods, quaint downtowns, quality health care facilities, excellent school districts, vibrant economy, and amenities, among others. And as you consider the location of your next facility, business, or residence; we cordially invite you to learn more about our community and discover that the only thing missing is you.
Located in central Ohio, Union County is just 30 miles northwest of downtown Columbus on US Route 33. The county seat, Marysville, is at the US Route 33 and US Route 36 intersection. Regional attractions such as the Columbus Zoo, Ohio Caverns and Mad River Mountain are a 15 minute drive, making it a convenient lodging stop for multi-day and “hub and spoke” tours. Historic covered bridges, unique commercial tours and wonderful restaurants, featuring homemade meals, create an attractive day trip for large groups.
