We Plant Success by the Acre

Even though Union County is the third fastest growing county in Ohio, agriculture and agribusiness remain dominant industries. Our agricultural history, fertile soil base, plentiful growing season, and research and development infrastructure has allowed Union County to emerge as a key location for agribusiness and agricultural research and development. Our community leaders and partner organizations recognize how important agriculture is to our economy and work diligently to ensure that agriculture and agribusiness remain viable for generations to come.

To foster the growth and sustainability of Union County’s agricultural and agribusiness industries, the Union County Agriculture Association and the Union County Economic Development Partnership created the Union County Agriculture Economic Development Strategy (AEDS). The AEDS can be downloaded by clicking here.
