The NW 33 Innovation Corridor between Dublin and East Liberty serves as a regional center of industry. It is along this corridor where Honda of America Mfg., Inc. and many automotive suppliers and advanced manufacturers have grown to form one of the largest concentrations of manufacturing industry in the Columbus Region.
In addition, the NW 33 Innovation Corridor from Marysville to Dublin is home to a number of major world-class corporations such as Nestle Product Technology Center, The Scotts Miracle-Gro Co., Continental, Parker Hannifin Hydraulics, and others. There is no doubt that Union County has experienced tremendous industrial growth during the past decade, and nowhere is it more evident than in Jerome Township, where nearly 250 companies have established operations. Countywide, more than 1,440 are directly employed in Research & Development, while it is estimated that another 2,000 are employed in research and development support services. Those directly and indirectly employed in research and development account for roughly 12% of Union County’s workforce.
