Workplaces of Today & Tomorrow

Workplaces of Today & Tomorrow

The Education Program Committee of the Union County Business, Education and Workforce Team (BEWT) is proud to present the third annual Workplaces of Today & Tomorrow (WTT) during June 11-14, 2012.

The overall goal of WTT is to prepare students for employment specifically in Union County by giving local educators and human/social services employees opportunities to interact with local company officials and develop curriculum specifically designed to aid and prepare local students for employment in Union County.

WTT connects participants with local companies representing a variety of business sectors, such as: arts/communication, business/management, health services, human resources, industry/engineering and environmental/agriculture.

Information gleaned from each employer visit will be used to develop curriculum to promote the necessary skills and motivation to their students to become valuable employees for Union County employers.
